On the top of my Momlife.ninja site, or in the menu heading, you may have noticed a link to BellaBlush. Click on the link you will be directed to another website that I had created a couple months ago (before I decided to keep blogging)
This website is where I will be placing any of my “artsy” things. I started a small Etsy shop to sell a few of my handmade quilts and I created this website to serve as a way to give out a bit of information about my quilt-y and crafty projects.
Over the years, I had put artistic things that I enjoyed to the side, in order to stay focused on my family. It is also a bit costly, takes a lot of time, and my patience levels (at the time), were not exactly present for the pursuit. However, as I am aging and wondering if God will bless us with more children, I have been putting some of my efforts back into my artistic side when I have a little bit of time.
I’ve learned (and my husband has also learned) that art is built in me by design and carving some time out for it, is beneficial to my mental well-being. ;). Basically, I enjoy it and it helps to keep my soul happy.
My husband has said many times before, that I seem more relaxed and happier when I’ve had some time to be creative. So, we decided that I would spend a little more time in that arena. I’m not sad that I put art aside for my children and family, but it is nice to pick it up again.
So, if you want, please check it out. I’m not sure exactly what I’m doing with it, but I had a surplus of quilts lately (sewing has been a bit of a stress reliever during this Covid-19 period) and I decided to sell a few for the pure joy of it.
